DCHZ-Al407 Conversion Coating Process for Aluminum Diecast
without Hexavalent Chromium
DCHZ-Al407 is a drak green acid liquid does not contain hexavalent chromium, lead, mercury, and
nitrite. Used in aluminum alloy and aluminum diecast conversion coating process. The finish color is
clear to light blue color.

Finishing Procedure
1. Matt effect (Can refer to the following process):
Sand blasting→Rinsing→Rinsing→Degreasing(with DCHZ-103)→ Rinsing→Rinsing
→conversion coating treatment(DCHZ-Al407) →Drying (not to exceed 60℃) →
Powder coating or not
2.Bright effect (Can refer to the following process):
chemical polishing(with DCHZ-305)→Rinsing→Rinsing→Neutralization→ Rinsing→Rinsing→
conversion coating treatment(DCHZ-Al407)→Painting (transparent or not painting)
3.High Light effect (Can refer to the following process):
Burnishing (with DCHZ-103)→ Rinsing→Rinsing→ conversion coating treatment(DCHZ-Al407)→
Rinsing→Rinsing→Drying (not to exceed 60℃)→Painting (transparent or not painting)
Caution
DCHZ-Al407 solutions are acid. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Avoid breathing dusts
or solution mists. Do not take internally. When handling powder or working the solution, a full face
shield or goggles must be worn along with protective rubber gloves, rubber apron and rubber boots.
In case of contact with skin or eyes, flush freely with water for at least 15 minutes. For eyes, call a
physician.
